Weather Update:- Changes are being seen in the weather across the country. From West Bengal to Gujarat-Rajasthan, Punjab-Haryana, the weather will change again amidst the scorching heat. The Meteorological Department has issued a storm warning for many areas. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Punjab and Haryana.

Thunderstorms and lightning may occur along with rain in the northeastern states, where the situation is expected to remain serious. The Meteorological Department has predicted a heat wave from Bihar, West Bengal, to Jharkhand, Odisha, for three to four days. An alert has been issued for lightning with thunder in Northwest India till May 12 and in Central India till May 13.

The Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rain in Northeast India from May 12 to 15. The Meteorological Department estimates that pre-monsoon rains can also be seen in South India from May 11 to 15. Apart from this, an alert has been issued for strong winds, light to heavy rainfall in South Indian states like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.

Rain warning in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, a rain alert has been issued in Central Maharashtra from April 12 to April 15. There is a possibility of strong winds and lightning here. A storm alert was also issued in Konkan and Goa on 12 and 13 May.
