New Delhi: We hadn’t yet forgotten the devastating car bomb explosion in the capital, Delhi. A sudden, unimaginable explosion at the Nowgam police station in South Srinagar last night created panic. The blast’s loud sound shook the entire area, and its echoes could be heard for several kilometres.
So far, seven people have died in the blast, and 30 have been injured. Several vehicles were reduced to ashes. The condition of some of the injured is reported to be critical, and the death toll may rise. CCTV footage of the incident has also surfaced, leaving you terrified.
Eyewitnesses say the blast was so intense that a plume of fire and smoke rose into the sky. An investigation is underway, and the cause may be determined soon. The investigating agency is investigating the possibility of an IED conspiracy or negligence.
