Bihar Election 2025 – All political parties are showing great activity regarding the 2025 Bihar Assembly Elections. A fierce battle is expected between the NDA and the Grand Alliance. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself took charge of the election campaign today. Meanwhile, Tejashwi Yadav is also working tirelessly. Soon, prominent leaders of the Grand Alliance will join the campaign.
In this connection, leaders of the Samajwadi Party, which supports the Grand Alliance, will also be seen leading the charge against the NDA in Bihar. The Samajwadi Party, which emerged as the largest party in Uttar Pradesh in the Lok Sabha elections, has released its list of star campaigners.
This list includes former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and party national leader Mohammad Azam Khan. Azam Khan was released on bail last month after serving 23 months in prison. Mainpuri MP Dimple Yadav has also been included in the list of star campaigners.
SP’s Star Campaigners in Bihar
In addition to Akhilesh Yadav, Mohammad Azam Khan, and Dimple Yadav, Kiranmay Nanda has also been named as an election campaigner. Party MPs Afzal Ansari, Awadhesh Prasad, Babu Singh Kushwaha, Naresh Uttam Patel, Ramashankar Vidyarthi Rajbhar, Lalji Verma, Rajiv Rai, Sanatan Pandey, Ikra Hasan, Priya Saroj, and Laxmikant alias Pappu Nishad have been included in the list of campaigners.
MLA Tej Pratap Singh Yadav, Om Prakash Singh, National President of the Samajwadi Cultural Cell, Kashinath Yadav, and State President of the Samajwadi Cultural Cell, Dharmendra Solanki, have been included in the list of star campaigners. In total, the SP has designated 20 star campaigners for the Bihar Assembly elections. If needed, these star campaigners can campaign to solicit votes for the Grand Alliance.
Azam Khan’s name surprises
Samajwadi Party National General Secretary Azam Khan has been included in the list of star campaigners, putting an end to all speculation. The SP has also attempted to allay the resentment surrounding Azam Khan’s silence. It also hinted at respect for Azam Khan within the Muslim community.
This makes it clear that while Azam Khan holds no constitutional position, the party will stand by him in every situation and show him respect. Azam Khan has repeatedly stated that SP chief Akhilesh Yadav respects him immensely.
