Monsoon Alert: The next 48 hours are not going to be easy, as thunderstorms and storms with rain are possible in some areas. The weather is going to deteriorate once again in Uttar Pradesh. The heat continues to rage in the entire northern India, including Delhi NCR. In many areas, the temperature has exceeded 40 degrees Celsius, causing widespread discomfort.

People in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh are also scorching with heat. The temperature dropped due to cold winds blowing late at night in the higher regions. The weather can deteriorate once again in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. There is a possibility of the weather deteriorating in the northeastern states as well. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, an alert of heavy rain with thunder has been issued in many states of the country.

Rain alert in these districts of Uttar Pradesh

According to the Meteorological Department, a warning has been issued of heavy rain with thunderstorms in Sonbhadra, Chandauli, Varanasi, Ghazipur, Mau and Ballia. Along with this, an alert has been issued for heavy rain in Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar and Basti. Apart from this, an alert has been issued for moderate rain in Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar and Gonda. Apart from this, a warning of rain has been issued in Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, and Lakhimpur Kheri.

It will also rain in Uttarakhand.

According to the IMD, the weather is going to deteriorate in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand. Today, a warning of rain with lightning has been issued in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh. Along with this, a yellow alert has also been issued for lightning with thunder in Dehradun.

Thunderstorm warning in many districts of Himachal Pradesh

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of thunderstorms and rain with thunder in many districts of Himachal Pradesh in the next 24 hours. On 18 and 19 April, Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, and Solan may experience rain accompanied by thunderstorms. Additionally, Sirmaur and Kinnaur districts may experience rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds.

Rain in the northeastern states

The weather of the northeastern states is expected to remain very bad from April 18 to April 23. The IMD has issued a warning of heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, and Manipur. Apart from this, heavy rain is expected in Mizoram and Tripura. There may be rain in Himachal Pradesh on April 20 and in Uttarakhand on April 20- 21.
