Pakistani Army Suicide Attack: A suicide attack was carried out in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Saturday. At least 13 soldiers are reported to have been killed in this attack. At the same time, a total of 29 people, including 10 military personnel, were injured. According to the local police officer, the intensity of the explosion was so high that the roofs of nearby houses also collapsed due to its impact. Six innocent children have been reported to be injured in two of these houses.
Many soldiers have also been seriously injured in this attack. So far, no organisation has taken responsibility for this attack. It is being said that Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) or any group associated with it may be behind this.
The army and security agencies are conducting search operations in the area, while the injured have been admitted to nearby military hospitals.
According to the Global Terrorism Index 2025 report, the number of deaths due to terrorist attacks in Pakistan increased significantly in 2024. In the year 2023, 748 people died in terrorist attacks, whereas in the year 2024, 1,081 people died.
