The Meteorological Department has indicated that pre-monsoon activity is likely to gain momentum in Rajasthan. Over the next five days, several districts in Rajasthan may witness spells of heavy rainfall. During this period, light to moderate showers are also expected in various districts. The IMD has issued specific warnings regarding hailstorms, lightning, and thunderstorms.

Weather Forecast for Uttar Pradesh

Pre-monsoon activity is expected to intensify in Uttar Pradesh as well. According to the IMD, there is a strong possibility of heavy rainfall across Uttar Pradesh over the next five days. The Meteorological Department has also forecast the likelihood of rain, hailstorms, and thunderstorms.

Heavy Rainfall Warning for These States

According to the Meteorological Department, pre-monsoon activity is expected to pick up pace in several states. The IMD predicts that spells of rain are likely in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Punjab, and Haryana. Additionally, heavy rainfall may occur in Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Madhya Pradesh, and Odisha.

Furthermore, the Meteorological Department suggests that rainy spells may continue in Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, Sikkim, Chhattisgarh, and Vidarbha. The IMD also forecasts the possibility of heavy rainfall in Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, and Tripura. Rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely in Mizoram, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Additionally, a heavy rainfall alert has been issued for Mahe, Puducherry, Yanam, and Karaikal for the next five days. Hailstorms, squalls, and thunderstorms are also anticipated.
