According to the IMD, Cyclone ‘Montha’, which has formed over the Bay of Bengal, is expected to make landfall on the Andhra Pradesh coast on October 28th. Several districts, including Chennai, Tiruvallur, Kanchipuram, and Chengalpattu, are expected to experience heavy rainfall. Furthermore, the RMC has stated that ‘Montha’ will primarily affect coastal Andhra Pradesh, but it has been causing continuous rainfall in northern Tamil Nadu since Monday.

Heavy Rain Alert in Bihar
According to the IMD, northeastern districts like Patna, Muzaffarpur, and Purnia are expected to experience moderate to heavy rainfall until October 30th.
