The Meteorological Department has issued an alert due to heavy rains expected in Delhi over the next two days. Apart from Delhi, heavy rains are being seen in many states of the country. Delhi-NCR received drizzle throughout the day on Friday, after which the temperature also dropped. The maximum temperature of Delhi can be around 32 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature can be around 23 degrees Celsius.
Due to the rain, Delhiites have experienced significant relief from the heat. However, on the other hand, there has been waterlogging in many places in Delhi. The Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain alert for Delhi for the next 7 days. Along with this, a rain alert has been issued in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Odisha and Chhattisgarh. At the same time, due to heavy rains in the hilly states of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, there is a danger of landslides and river and stream overflows.
