Monsoon Update: Rainfall has continued across the country even after the monsoon season ended this year. The continuous downpour has brought relief from the heat and kept temperatures low. Even after the monsoon has departed, rain continues in many states. Meanwhile, severe cold is being observed in many parts of the country. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has predicted dense morning fog in many areas of Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, and Mizoram from December 11th to 15th.

Fog may also persist in Himachal Pradesh and eastern Uttar Pradesh from December 11th to 13th. The Meteorological Department has issued a fog alert for Uttarakhand and Odisha on December 11th and 12th. There will be no change in minimum temperatures in Gujarat, eastern and northeastern India for the next seven days.

According to the IMD forecast, dense fog may prevail in Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, eastern Uttar Pradesh, Assam, and Manipur during the morning hours.

A cold wave alert has been issued for Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, eastern Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand.
