Monsoon Alert – IMD Issues Heavy Rainfall Warning for 6 States

Weather Alert – The month of November is now halfway through, and the weather is experiencing a variety of changes. This month has seen snowfall, rain, and dense fog. Dense fog has enveloped many areas of Delhi-NCR, Haryana, and Western Uttar Pradesh since morning, causing difficulties for drivers.

The cold has intensified in the northeastern states, where people have started wearing jerseys, sweaters, and jackets. Rain continues to make life miserable in many areas of South India. Rainfall in several places late last night has brought down temperatures, making the weather pleasant. Heavy Rain Warning in These States

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms is expected in Kerala and Mahe on November 13th. An alert for heavy rain has been issued for Tamil Nadu on November 17th and 18th. Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, and Rayalaseema are expected to experience light to moderate rain on November 17th and 18th. Lightning and thunderstorms are expected in coastal and south interior Karnataka on November 17th and 18th. Rain is also possible in some areas of Telangana and Maharashtra.

Cold wave to prevail in these areas

The IMD has predicted a cold wave in many areas of western Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh on November 13th. It has also been predicted that cold wave conditions will continue in some areas on November 14th and 15th. Intensifying cold conditions are expected in eastern Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Cold day conditions may persist in many areas of eastern Madhya Pradesh on November 13th.

Weather in the Northeastern States

According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate fog is expected in northeastern India for the next five days. Minimum temperatures are expected to drop by 2-3 degrees Celsius over the next 4-5 days. No significant change in minimum temperatures is expected over northwest, western, central, and eastern India over the next 6-7 days.

Light fog expected in Delhi

The IMD has predicted dense fog in many parts of Delhi on Wednesday, with the AQI recorded above 400. Thursday will see light fog and clear skies. No significant change in the weather is expected until November 15th.
