Monsoon Alert – The effects of Cyclone Ditwa have subsided, but many areas of South India are still experiencing rain and thunderstorms. There’s no respite from the rains just yet. Snowfall and severe cold are lashing the hilly regions of North India, with temperatures reaching sub-zero in some places.

In the plains of Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, and Uttar Pradesh, the cold has begun to disrupt the pace of life. The severity of the cold has increased in most areas of Jharkhand and Bihar. Dense fog enveloped Delhi-NCR early in the morning, causing inconvenience to pedestrians.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts heavy to light rain in several states across the country. The rain is expected to continue for the next two days. You can find detailed weather forecasts below.
