New Delhi: In Kathmandu, the capital of India’s neighbouring country Nepal, people’s patience against the government broke today. A large number of people protesting against the government entered the Parliament building, where 14 people died. Apart from this, 80 people were injured.
Protests have now started in other cities as well. The protesters are Gen-Z boys and girls, who are raising their voices against the social media ban, but the government is not ready to listen to them.
The police fired tear gas shells along with lathis to stop the agitated people. But the protesters went out of control. The situation went out of control in no time. Now, a heavy force has been deployed around the Kathmandu Parliament. Not only this, curfew has also been imposed in view of the worsening situation.

Protests against the social media ban started in Nepal’s capital Kathmandu and other cities from Monday morning against the government of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. The crowd of boys and girls kept increasing in the protest. The protesters were moving towards the Parliament. The police lathi-charged them to stop, fired tear gas shells, but they did not listen.
The crowd of protesters got enraged after seeing the attitude of the police administration. Many vehicles were set on fire, and the Parliament building was vandalised. To control the situation, curfew has been imposed in the entire city. Soldiers have been deployed at every nook and corner. Such a big protest against the Nepalese government is being seen for the first time.
