New Delhi: India’s Gen-Gs are making significant contributions to the space industry. Whenever the country offers opportunities for advancement, the younger generation is at the forefront. Furthermore, Gen-Gs also prioritise the country first. PM Narendra Modi stated this during an event in Hyderabad.
PM Narendra Modi also unveiled the Skyroot Aerospace Infinity Campus in Hyderabad and urged young people to dedicate themselves to the country. On Thursday, PM Modi stated that more than 300 space startups are operating in India today. He further stated that space startups began with very small spaces and limited resources, but they have always possessed the passion to reach the sky.

Gen-G are making a name for itself – PM Modi.
In Hyderabad, PM Narendra Modi praised the Gen-G youth. He said that this mindset of the youth has launched the private space revolution in the country. Today, young engineers, designers, coders, and scientists are developing advanced technologies such as propulsion, composite materials, rocket stages, and satellite platforms.
Indian startups were previously considered insignificant, but today they have become a vehicle for economic and social progress. Modi further stated that the rapid growth of the space sector is part of the startup revolution underway in India. Over the past decade, young innovators, especially Gen-Z, have been creating innovative solutions in fintech, agritech, healthtech, climatetech, edutech, and defensetech.
Startups are also booming among rural communities.
PM Narendra Modi said that Gen-Z youth in India can inspire the world’s youth with their creative skills and positive attitude. Modi noted that India now boasts the third-largest startup ecosystem in the world.
With over 150,000 registered startups, he added that startups are no longer limited to big cities; new companies are emerging from small towns and villages as well.
