Bihar Results 2025 – The picture is almost clear in the Bihar Assembly elections, where the NDA appears poised for a landslide victory. Several prominent leaders of the Grand Alliance are also trailing in their respective seats. Meanwhile, Chirag Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party, considered PM Narendra Modi’s protege within the NDA, appears to be performing exceptionally well in this election.
According to the latest trends, the LJP is leading in 21 seats. His party contested only 29 seats. If this trend translates into results, it will be considered a major victory for Chirag Paswan.
In the last assembly elections, he broke away from the NDA and fielded candidates against the JDU, resulting in significant losses for Nitish Kumar. The JDU won 43 seats in Bihar, finishing third.
Chirag Paswan failed to open his account in the last election.
Lok Janshakti Party chief Chirag Paswan opposed the NDA in the last assembly elections and fielded candidates against the JDU. They caused significant damage to the JDU by voting for them in several seats, but the LJP was also unsuccessful. This time, the NDA prioritised Chirag Paswan, giving him 29 seats to contest.
Throughout the election, Chirag Paswan worked tirelessly to ensure his candidates’ victory. As a result, 21 of his candidates are leading. The NDA’s strategy and candidate selection proved a major setback for the Grand Alliance. Some political experts attribute this defeat to a lack of coordination within the Grand Alliance.
BJP May Become Bihar’s Largest Party
The BJP is projected to become the largest party in Bihar with 90 seats. The JDU is projected to become the second-largest party with 80 seats. So far, the RJD appears to be suffering the biggest loss. The RJD is leading in a total of 31 seats, down from 74 in the previous election.
The Congress, an ally of the Grand Alliance, is leading in a total of 4 seats. Jansuraj Party does not seem to be opening its account.
