Bihar Election 2025: Elections will be held in two phases, know when the results will be declared

Bihar Election Date Announcement Updates: The Bihar Assembly elections have finally been announced, bringing excitement to the faces of workers from all political parties. This time, the Bihar Assembly elections will be held in two phases. Voting for the first phase will take place on November 6th. The second phase will be held on November 11th.

Exactly three days later, on November 14th, the results for all 243 assembly seats will be announced. The government and opposition political parties had also demanded that the elections be held in two phases this time, which the Election Commission approved and announced. Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar himself announced the election schedule in a press conference.

Elections were held in three phases.s

For information, the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections were held in three phases. The first phase was held on October 28, the second phase on November 3, 2020, and the third phase on November 7. The vote count was completed on November 10, 2020.

A close contest was witnessed between the NDA and the Grand Alliance. This time, the voter turnout is expected to increase. The Election Commission has conducted a special intensive revision campaign to remove the deceased and migrants from the voter list.

The opposition created a lot of uproar over the SIR campaign. Allegations of voter list fraud were levelled against the Election Commission and the government. Congress organised a Voter Rights March in Bihar to protest.
