Air strikes have been carried out targeting the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv. Russia dropped 800 drones simultaneously on Kyiv, due to which the cabinet building in the Pechersky district caught fire.

Timur Tkachenko, head of the Ukrainian military administration, shared this information on social media on Sunday. According to a Reuters report, eyewitnesses saw thick smoke rising from the main building of the Ukrainian government.

Three people killed

Three people, including a newborn, lost their lives in Russian drone attacks. Ukrainian officials said that Russia had attacked Kyiv overnight. In this, three people, including a newborn, died, while 18 others were injured. Many buildings, including the government headquarters in the capital, were set on fire. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said that the attack started with drone attacks on the city, and then missile attacks were carried out.
