Date and Chipset Confirmed for the Infinix Note Edge Launch
The Infinix Note Edge will go on sale on January 19th, says to the firm. It will be the first smartphone with the new MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset to be released worldwide. The Dimensity 7100, MediaTek’s update for the Dimensity 7050, was introduced last month. Four Arm Cortex-A78 cores clocked at up to 2.4GHz and four Arm Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0GHz make up this eight-core CPU. An Arm Mali-G610 GPU is part of the CPU.

Based on reports, the Infinix Note Edge can run games like Peacekeeper Elite and Honor of Kings at up to 90 frames per second. It will also support 60 frames per second for PUBG: Battlegrounds (known as BGMI in India), according to rumors. It also states that the new phone can cut modem power usage by as much as 21%.
With 3D spatial wallpapers and semi-transparent UI elements, XOS 16 is said to provide a new user experience. As stated by the company, when using the Infinix Note Edge, XOS 16 will show new animations for different user actions. Also, a new live photo transfer function akin to that of iPhones will be included.
