Infinix kinda officially showed off their newest budget phone, the Infinix HOT 70 , at a little announcement event in Indonesia. This one comes with that “Colorful, Versatile, Fun” type proposition and it’s aimed at people who see their mobile device as more of a personal style extension, still you get everyday speed and not too much compromise. At the same time, Infinix also gave a peek at a higher tier variant, the HOT 70 Pro, which is supposed to land later for a full reveal.
Infinix HOT 70: Specifications and Features
The headline feature of the Infinix HOT 70 is kind of a mix of very tailored physical customization, with serious battery staying power. It comes with a big 6.78-inch HD+ (720×1576 pixels) LCD screen that feels smooth thanks to a 120Hz refresh rate, and it also has a 240Hz touch sampling rate. Inside, you get the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate 6nm octa-core processor, alongside ARM Mali-G57 MC2 graphics. That combo is backed by options up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and as much as 256GB of internal UFS 2.2 storage. Now for keeping it all running, there is a strong 6,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging, plus 10W reverse wired charging and bypass charging kind of support.
For the camera side, the front uses a clean punch-hole cutout that holds an 8MP selfie shooter with an f/2.0 aperture, and there is also a separate dual-LED flash set. On the back, the main imaging is led by a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.85 aperture, then followed by an additional auxiliary lens, and a dual-LED flash module. Both the front and rear cameras are able to capture sharp 2K video at 30fps. Even with that large cell capacity though, the phone still stays sleek at 7.49mm thickness, and it weighs 195 grams. It also includes IP65 dust and splash resistance so it feels more durable for everyday use.

The “Dynamic Shine Design” & Colorways
A big talking point for the launch is the phone’s focus on heavy cosmetic variety, you know, the whole look and feel side. It’s built with a “Baby-Smooth” texture coating meant to resist fingerprints a bit better , and the device comes with a premium “Crystal Mood Island” faceted camera ring that refracts that iridescent kind of lighting.
The lineup pushes a few distinct material choices out of its total finishes, kind of like you’ve got options but they all feel intentional.
Thermo Orange Edition: uses a dual-way thermo-sensing skin that shifts shade with the surrounding temperature. It deepens below 0°C and then fades around 65°C, so users can apply custom stamp sheets for temporary patterns.
Quiet Violet & Green Texture: includes a Lumina Flare dynamic flame structure, it bends and redirects light across microscopic patterns to mimic a sense of moving depth, even when you’re just holding it.
Standard Colors: rounded out by shades like Night Pulse, Silver Dancer, and Dive Blue.
Pricing and Expected India Availability
The Infinix HOT 70 is basically already making its way onto retail shelves in Indonesia, while the standard variants are set to roll out globally not long after. As for India, there is no fully confirmed launch window yet, but some insiders are pointing to a mid 2026 arrival for the HOT 70 series, so it can square off in the sub – ₹15,000 budget space.
