Akshara Singh Slams Khesari Lal Yadav – Recently, during a conversation with Bihar Tak, Akshara Singh revealed that she learned late about Khesari Lal Yadav’s election campaign. She said, “I only saw in reels that Khesari Lal Yadav was contesting, but I didn’t have any specific information about it. I was busy with the Chhath festival. It wasn’t until I returned to Patna that I learned he was contesting from Chapra. Ritesh Pandey is also contesting; they’re all from our industry. If these people move forward, it’s good; it brings glory to the Bhojpuri industry.”
But when asked if she would support Khesari Lal Yadav, Akshara clearly replied, “He openly disrespects me, so why should I support him? Support is given when someone considers you one of our own. It’s impossible for me to support someone who doesn’t respect me. Yes, as a human being, I would like everyone in our industry to progress and succeed.”
“Women’s respect should be equal for everyone.”
Akshara Singh further stated that if someone talks about women’s respect, they should have an equal perspective on everyone. She said, “Women’s respect means treating everyone equally. It’s not right to belittle someone and exalt another. Khesari wasn’t like this before, but now there’s a visible change in his statements.”

When Akshara Singh was asked about Pawan Singh’s wife Jyoti Singh contesting the elections, she gave a very balanced and positive response. She said, “It’s a great thing that Jyoti Singh is contesting the elections. As a woman, I wish her all the best. She has reached this position through her own hard work and strength. It’s not our right to judge or evaluate anyone’s journey. If we can’t support each other, then at least we shouldn’t pull each other down.”
Akshara Singh further stated that she wants women like Jyoti Singh to thrive and set an example in society – “I want her to thrive and win. As a woman, I fully support her.” Khesari Lal Yadav has announced his candidacy for the Chhapra seat on RJD ticket. Ritesh Pandey and Jyoti Singh (Pawan Singh’s wife) are also contesting.
