UP Board 12th Practical Exam 2026 – New ‘Double Marks Upload’ System via App; Check Phase 1 Dates

UP Board 12th Exam 2026: The UP Board Intermediate class examinations are starting today, January 24th. Meanwhile, a new update has emerged regarding the UP Board Class 12 practical exams: the method of awarding marks will change. This time, the UP Board Class 12th marks will be uploaded twice. This change comes after the rescheduling of the UP TET 2026 exam dates. To eliminate any possibility of errors in uploading practical marks, the board has implemented a system of uploading marks twice this year. The UP Board has clarified that the previously removed dates have been reinstated, as there is no longer any conflict.

The practical exams for candidates appearing in the UP Board 12th examination 2026 are starting today, January 24th. This year, the board has modified its mobile app and implemented a system of uploading marks twice.

In this new system, examiners were asked to submit marks both online via the mobile app and offline, to ensure that practical exam marks are not misplaced in case of any problems with the online system.

After the successful trial, instructions have been issued for completely online mark submission this year. Therefore, it has been decided to upload the marks twice to prevent any errors. In the app, the examiner must select up to 80 candidates from their assigned group and upload the marks they received.

UP Board 2026 Exam Dates:
According to the board’s new notification, the Intermediate practical examinations will be conducted in two phases:
First Phase: January 24th to February 1st, 2026
Second Phase: February 2nd to February 9th, 2026
UPMSP has also clarified that the dates of January 29th and 30th, 2026, which were previously removed, have been reinstated in the examination schedule.

The Uttar Pradesh Board Class 10th and 12th theory examinations will be conducted between February 18 and March 12, 2026. This year, more than 50 lakh students are expected to appear for the annual board examinations across the state.
