SSC CGL 2025 Exam Cancelled: The Staff Selection Commission was going to conduct the Combined Graduate Level Examination 2025 Tier-I exam. This computer-based examination, which was to run from September 12 to September 26, has been cancelled due to technical and administrative constraints. In such a situation, the candidates also faced inconveniences. The exam had to be cancelled in Gurugram and Jammu. After the exam was cancelled, the students expressed their displeasure. According to the information, a total of 28,14,604 candidates had applied for the SSC CGL Tier-1 exam 2025. At some locations, students were not given entry despite arriving on time, while at other locations, the server was down, resulting in the exam being cancelled.
Exams cancelled in Gurugram
Students have expressed strong displeasure at a big center in Gurugram. Candidates claim that they were not allowed to enter the gate, despite arriving on time.
Those who went inside also had to face constant server problems. When the situation worsened, the students started sloganeering.
Exams cancelled in Jammu and Jaipur.
Sunday’s exam was suddenly cancelled. Local officials have cited technical difficulties as the reason. However, the exam could not be conducted at a single centre in Jaipur either.
SSC Chairman clarified
SSC Chairman S. Gopalakrishnan, speaking to the media, admitted that there were problems at approximately 12 of the 227 centres across the country. He said, “The exam went smoothly at 215 centres. However, at the MM centre in Gurugram, old machines and network flaws were discovered, which led to its removal. He has said that new centres will be allotted in NCR, Delhi region in the coming 10 days.” The chairman also said that, “Sometimes technical glitches occur when new features are added.
Gurugram:- The exam had to be canceled due to administrative reasons at MM Public School Center. This exam will be held on September 24, 25, and 26, 2025.
Kolkata:- The new date for the exam has not been released here yet. It is reported that the new date will be announced soon on the official SSC website.
Jammu:- The exam of Jammu people will now be held on September 26, 2025.
Delhi:- The Tier 1 exam to be held at Bharti Vidya Niketan Public School Center has been canceled. The next date of the exam here is September 24, 25 September and September 26.
