Schools Closed Tomorrow: North India is currently experiencing a severe cold wave and intense cold weather. The cold weather has made life very difficult for people. Due to the increasing cold, school holidays have been extended in several states. Heavy fog is prevailing in many states, including Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, and Uttarakhand. Due to the biting cold and cold wave, schools are currently closed in several states of North India, including UP, Bihar, Rajasthan, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, and Haryana. Uttarakhand School Holiday
Uttarakhand School Holiday Update: Due to severe cold, school holidays for classes 1 to 5 have been extended. Schools will remain closed here on January 19th.
Bihar School Holiday
Winter vacation in schools here ended on January 17th. Currently, no orders have been issued in any district to extend the holidays or keep the schools closed further. Therefore, schools will remain open here on January 19th.
UP School Holiday
Severe Cold in UP: The minimum temperature in Uttar Pradesh remains below 5 degrees Celsius. If the cold weather does not subside by January 19th, the District Magistrates in districts like Lucknow, Noida, Kanpur, and Ghaziabad may consider extending school holidays.
Schools Closed in Haryana till January 17th
In Haryana, schools were ordered to remain closed till January 17th due to fog and cold weather. If the holidays are not extended further, schools will reopen here on January 19th.
Noida School Holiday
Considering the cold weather in Noida, schools for classes Nursery to 8th were ordered to remain closed on January 16th and 17th. However, since GRAP-4 has been implemented in Delhi-NCR, schools here may remain closed tomorrow.
