Guru Nanak Dev’s birth anniversary will be celebrated nationwide on November 5th. All schools and colleges will be closed on this occasion. Furthermore, November 9th, November 23rd, and November 30th are Sundays so that schools will be closed. Schools and colleges in Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand, have been ordered closed on this occasion.
It should be noted that on November 4th, the Meteorological Department declared an official holiday for schools in states like Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu due to rainfall.
Due to bad weather, schools were ordered closed in only a few states. Schools here were ordered closed due to Cyclone Montha.

Jharkhand Foundation Day will be celebrated on November 15th, 2025. This day commemorates the formation of Jharkhand from Bihar in 2000. The birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda is also celebrated on this day.
