Rajasthan Board Exam 2026:- The main examination of the Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan-2026 has started today i.e. Thursday, 19 February, across the state. The examinations for class 8th in the state begin on 19 February. Apart from this, the exams for class 5th will start from 20 February. This time, more than 27 lakh students are going to appear in the examinations in both classes. The Rajasthan Board 5th and 8th Exam 2026 will be conducted in a single shift. The examination will be held from 1:30 to 4 pm every day. Students will be given 2.5 hours to complete the paper. Disabled students will be given an additional 50 minutes to complete the paper.

This year, 2.7 million students will appear in the Rajasthan Board 5th and 8th class exams. The exams will be conducted in a single shift. The exam timings are 1:30 pm to 4 pm. Students will have 2.5 hours to complete the exam. Students with disabilities will be given 50 minutes of additional time to complete the exam based on a 40% disability.
Strict measures to prevent cheating
The Board has implemented strict measures to prevent cheating in the examination. Every examination centre will be monitored by CCTV cameras. Additionally, Abhay Command Centres have been established to monitor examinations across the state. The Board claims that this year’s examination will be completely free of cheating.
When will these exams be held?
The Rajasthan Board’s Class 10 exams will be held from February 12 to February 28, 2026. The Class 12 exams will be held from February 12 to March 11, 2026. Exams for both classes will be conducted in a single shift.
The Board has issued some important advice to students. Mobile phones, smartwatches, or any other electronic devices are not permitted in the examination hall. Only admit cards, identity cards, and necessary stationery such as pens and pencils are permitted inside the examination centre. If any student carries a mobile phone, smartwatch, or other electronic device, they may be barred from appearing for the examination.
