CBSE Class 10, 12 Result 2026 Live: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to announce the Class 10 and 12 examination results for 2026 very soon. Students who appeared for the exams are eagerly awaiting their results. This year, a record-breaking 44 lakh-plus students participated in the board examinations. According to the latest updates, the evaluation of answer sheets and data processing has reached its final stage.
It is anticipated that the results may be released between April 15 and April 20. However, no official information regarding the exact result date has been shared yet. Once released, students will be able to check their results via the official CBSE website, cbseresults.nic.in.

How were the results in 2025?
If we look back at the results from 2025, the states in South India performed best. In the CBSE Class 12 exams, Lakshadweep secured the first position with a 100 per cent pass rate. This was followed by Telangana in second place with a 99.73 per cent pass rate, and Andhra Pradesh in third with 99.51 per cent.
Results Available on the UMANG App
In addition to the official website, students can view their results on DigiLocker and the UMANG App. The Board has increased the capacity of its cloud servers to ensure that over 30 lakh students can log in simultaneously. To check their results, students must keep their Aadhaar number and registered mobile number ready.
To handle the load of 44 lakh students, the Board has designated three websites—cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, and cbseresults.nic.in—as backups this time around. If one site crashes, students will be able to check their results using one of the other websites.
DigiLocker PIN is Mandatory
The Board has explicitly stated that, for security reasons, the digital marksheet will only open using a 6-digit security PIN this time. This PIN has been sent to the schools online; students should contact their class teachers to obtain it.

4. Click on the ‘CBSE Class 10th Result’ link.
5. Finally, enter the requested information.
6. Download the scorecard and take a printout for future reference.
