According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of hailstorms—along with rain and strong winds—in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Punjab, Delhi, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh.

The Meteorological Department has indicated a possibility of light rain in the Kashmir Valley on April 7.
Between April 7 and 8, scattered rainfall with hailstorms is possible in several districts of Bihar. An alert has been issued for several districts of Uttar Pradesh, as heavy rainfall is expected between April 7 and April 8.
Rainfall is also expected in Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand on April 7 and April 8.
On April 7, light to moderate rainfall is likely in most places, including Western Rajasthan.
