Physical Test Result Released
According to a notice issued by the Commission, the list of candidates who passed the PET has been made public, but the results of 84 candidates have been temporarily withheld due to biometric and other technical issues. The Commission has clarified that candidates can submit their documents and claims until December 12th. After this, the Commission will have the right to make necessary changes to the report.
The physical test was conducted between August 22 and August 29, 2023. During that period, tragic incidents of the deaths of a dozen candidates occurred due to the tough running standards. Following this, the state government amended the rules and simplified the test.
The selection process will be completed in three stages
The JSSC has clarified that the entire selection process will be completed in three stages:
- First stage: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Second stage: Written Test
- Third stage: Medical Test
Importantly, no marks awarded in the physical test will be included in the final merit list. This test is only qualifying in nature, meaning selection for the next stage is based solely on pass/fail.
When will the written exam be held?
According to an update released by the JSSC, the written exam will be conducted within 90 days, meaning candidates won’t have to wait much longer. It is expected that the exam date will be released on the official website soon. Candidates are advised to accelerate their preparations, as time is now limited.
