HP Board Releases 2026 Time Table. The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has finally put an end to the wait for the annual examinations for Class 10 and 12. The board released the exam date sheet 2026, stating that the main examinations for both classes will begin on March 3, 2026. The timetable has been uploaded on the board’s official website, hpbose.org, where all students can easily download it.
10th and 12th Exams from March 3, 2026
According to the notification issued by HPBOSE, this time the board has started the theory examinations for both Class 10 and 12 on the same day. The exams will be held in a single session, with timings set from 9:45 am to 1:00 pm.

Complete Class 10 Exam Schedule
High school exams will run from March 3 to March 28, 2026. All papers will be conducted in the morning session only. The Board has advised students to finalise their preparation strategy by reviewing the subject-wise schedule.
Class 12th Exam Dates
Class 12th exams will also begin on March 3, 2026, and continue until April 1, 2026. This timetable is the same for students of all streams—Arts, Science, and Commerce. Exam timings, like for Class 10, will be from 9:45 am to 1 pm.
Practical Exams from February 20th to February 28th
Practical exams will be conducted for all regular and SOS (State Open School) students before the theory exams. The Board stated that practical exams will be held in their respective schools between February 20th and 28th, 2026.
Students are advised to contact their school principals or the relevant department by February 18th, 2026, to confirm the dates for their respective subjects.
