GATE 2026 Admit Card: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee, may release the admit cards for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2026 very soon. The GATE 2026 exam will be conducted on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026. If you have applied for the GATE 2026 exam, you will be able to download your admit card from the official website gate2026.iitg.ac.in after its release. The hall ticket was originally scheduled for release on January 2nd, but it was postponed. It is now expected to be available soon. However, there has been no official confirmation from IIT yet.

The examination will be conducted in two shifts:
First Shift: 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Second Shift: 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM

Exam Format and Marking Scheme:
Each paper will be of 100 marks, with 15 marks for the General Aptitude section and 85 marks for the core paper. The marking scheme includes negative marking for incorrect answers in the multiple-choice question section. However, there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers in multiple-select or numerical answer-type questions.

The GATE exam will be conducted only in English. The total marks for each GATE paper will be 100. The General Aptitude Test will be of 15 marks in all papers.

First, visit the official website at gate2026.iitg.ac.in
Click on the β€œGATE Admit Card 2026” link on the homepage.
Enter your registration number and password/date of birth.
Upon logging in, the admit card will appear on the screen.
Download the admit card as a PDF.
Make sure to take a printout for future reference.
