The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will soon release the CLAT 2026 admit card. As the exam date approaches, candidates are searching online to find out when the admit card will be released and where it can be downloaded. All applicants will be able to download their admit card by logging in to the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

CLAT 2026 Admit Card: When and where will it be released?
The CLAT 2026 Admit Card will be released online. Once released, it will be made available on the official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
Required information to download the admit card:
- Registered mobile number/email
- Password (login details)
- The admit card contains the exam centre, reporting time, exam timing, and the candidate’s personal information.

- CLAT 2026 Exam Date: December 7, 2025
- Exam Timings: 2 PM to 4 PM
- Shifts: The exam will be conducted in only one shift.
Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre at least one hour before the exam time.
What is CLAT? Which programs are offered for admission?
CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) is a national-level entrance exam conducted for admission to National Law Universities (NLUs) across the country.
Admission to these programs is granted through this exam.
- UG (Undergraduate) Programs: BA LLB, BBA LLB, BCom LLB, etc.
- PG (Postgraduate) Programs: LLM
CLAT opens the door to admission to 22 National Law Universities (NLUs) and many other prestigious law colleges.
The online application process for both CLAT UG and CLAT PG began on August 1, 2025.
UG CLAT 2026 Exam Pattern
The UG exam will consist of a total of 120 Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs). The exam will last 120 minutes. The main sections are:
- English Language
- General Knowledge and Current Affairs
- Legal Reasoning
- Logical Reasoning
- Quantitative Techniques
There will be 1 mark for each correct answer, and a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
PG CLAT 2026 Exam Pattern
The PG exam also lasts 120 minutes, consisting of 120 objective questions. The main subjects are:
- Constitutional Law
- Jurisprudence
- Administrative Law
- Contract Law
- Torts
- Criminal Law
- Family Law
- Property Law
- Company Law
- Tax Law
- Public International Law
- Labour and Industrial Law
- Environmental Law

Note that negative marking applies in this exam as well.

Candidates must have the following documents to enter the exam centre:
- Printed copy of the CLAT 2026 Admit Card
- A valid photo ID
- Passport-size photograph
- Without these documents, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
