BSEB Time Table 2026. The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is expected to release the date sheets for the 2026 Matriculation (10th) and Intermediate (12th) examinations. As with every year, the Bihar Board is preparing to be the first board nationwide to conduct the exams and declare the results. Once the official datesheet is released, students will be able to download it in PDF format from the board’s website, secondary.biharboardonline.com.
It should be noted that board exam date sheets have already been released in several states across the country, so students pursuing Matriculation (10th) and Intermediate (12th) exams through the BSEB are also awaiting their exam date sheets.

Board Exams to be Held in February
As per the Bihar Board tradition, the 2026 exams will also be held in February. Last year, the 12th exams were held from February 1st to 12th, and the 10th exams from February 17th to 25th. Therefore, it is expected that the board will release the exam schedule within the same timeframe this time as well.
Set-up exam dates released, find out when the pre-board exams will be held
The Bihar Board has already released the datesheet for the set-up (pre-board) exams.
- Class 10th Set-up exams: November 19 to 22, 2025
- Class 12th Set-up exams: November 19 to 26, 2025
Passing these pre-board exams is mandatory for students to be allowed to appear for the main board exams.
Practical exams in January
The Bihar Board conducts practical exams every year in January, and it is expected that the same pattern will be followed this time as well. The theory exams will then be conducted in February.
The board aims to complete the evaluation of answer sheets within a month so that the results can be released on time.
Results expected by the end of March
The Bihar Board is known for its speedy result processing. Results will likely be declared by the last week of March in 2026 as well.
Last year, the 10th-grade results were released on March 25th and the 12th-grade results on March 29th. This year, results are also expected to be declared within the same period.
Toppers will receive cash prizes.
After the results are declared, the Bihar Board will honour the toppers as usual. The prize money awarded by the state government is as follows:
- First place: ₹2,00,000
- Second place: ₹1,50,000
- Third place: ₹1,00,000
- Fourth to tenth place: ₹30,000 each

In addition, toppers are also given laptops and Kindle e-readers.
Bihar Board students are now eagerly awaiting the BSEB Time Table 2026. The board is expected to conduct the set-up exams in November, practical exams in January, and the main exam in February 2026. Students will be able to download the official datesheet from the board’s website as soon as it is released.
