Click on the Member Passbook option from the options provided.

A new page will open on your screen. After this, you will need to provide your UAN number, password, captcha code, and mobile number.

After this, enter the OTP on the mobile number linked to Aadhaar.

After the OTP is verified, the PF balance will appear on the screen.

Where does the 12% go?

According to information, 12% of an employee’s salary is deducted every month as PF. This 12% is deposited into the PF account, and a portion into the pension account. Of this 12%, approximately 8.67% is deposited into the pension account. This accumulated amount is received as a pension after retirement. After this, 3.33% is deposited into the PF account. You can withdraw this money when needed.
