How can somebody link Their Mobile Number to Their Voter Card
To link your mobile number to your voter card, follow these simple steps.
The First step is checking the website. In that way somebody has go to the official Voter Service Portal at voters.eci.gov.in. If they already has an account, they can log in using their registered mobile number and OTP. If they don’t have an account, they should click Sign Up and enter their mobile number, email, and other details.
Once logged in, somebody needs to select Form 8: Correction of Entries. In the Application for section, they should choose Other Elector. Then, they must enter their voter card number or EPIC number and click Submit. After verifying the details, click OK. Next, somebody selects Correction of Entries in Existing Voter Roll and clicks OK again.
Now, they must fill in the information. On the first page, the assembly and district information will appear. They should not change anything and click Next. The second page will show their name and voter card number. Again, they should not change anything and click Next. On the third page, somebody should tick the box next to Mobile Number. They must enter the mobile number they want to link. It’s best to use the mobile number linked to their Aadhaar. Then, click Next. Finally, they should enter the Place (district name) and click Next.
After completing the previous step, somebody will need to enter the Captcha and click Send OTP. They will receive an OTP on the new mobile number. They should enter the OTP and click Preview and Submit. After checking the details, they can click E-sign and Submit, then click Yes. Somebody will enter their Aadhaar number and click Get OTP. The OTP will be sent to their Aadhaar-linked mobile number. They should enter the OTP, tick the box, and click Submit. The application is now submitted, and a reference number will appear.
To check the status, somebody needs to return to the homepage and click E-EPIC Download. They should select their voter card number and state, then click Search. The new mobile number will be linked, and they can download their digital voter card or e-EPIC using OTP.
