Tata Sierra EV
Tata Motors is going to introduce its iconic Sierra in a new avatar. This is the same SUV that created a distinct identity in India in the 90s. Now its Electric Version is scheduled to launch next month, while the petrol and diesel versions are expected to arrive early next year.
The new Sierra EV is likely to get two battery packs, which will be like Harrier EV. The company claims that this SUV will give a driving range of more than 500 km once charged. It will also feature modern features like bi-directional charging and DC fast charging. Positioned between Tata Curvv EV and Harrier EV, this SUV can become a flagship electric model for the company.c is preparing avatar. The company will introduce a new three-row electric SUV named XEV 7e based on the XUV.e8 platform.
This SUV will be inspired by the XUV700 and will feature many advance features including triple screen layout. Mahindra is trying to capture the premium segment in India’s EV market with its BE (Born Electric) projects such as XEV 9e and BE 6.

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara
Maruti Suzuki is also now ready to land in the electric race. The company’s first All-Electric SUV will be e Vitara, which will appear on Nexa outlets in the coming months. Recently its export operations have been introduced, indicating that the launch is close.
Maruti e Vitara will get two battery options which will give a little over 500 km range. Its cabin will also be extremely premium, with advance features such as large touchscreen infotainment system, full digital driver display and Level 2 ADAS. It is clear from this that Maruti is designing this SUV with modern tech lovers in mind.

Toyota Urban Cruiser BEV
Now Toyota is also not far behind and is preparing to bring its Urban Cruiser BEV to market. This SUV will share the platform with Maruti e Vitara, which is called Heartect e Platform. Its hardware and battery options will be almost identical, making its range also expected to be around 500 km.
However, the exterior design and dimensions of the Toyota Urban Cruiser BEV will be slightly different so that it reflects Toyota’s signature design language. From inside it will have the same premium cabin features which will be found in e Vitara. Talking about the launch timeline, the entry of Urban Cruiser BEV may take place immediately after the launch of e Vitara.

Mahindra XEV 7e
Also Mahindra is already moving fast in the EV segment and is now preparing the electric avatar of its flagship model XUV700. The company will introduce a new three-row electric SUV named XEV 7e based on the XUV.e8 platform.
