The country’s biggest government bank, State Bank of India (SBI), has given an alert to its crores of customers. The bank said that the YONO app service will be closed for some time on 4th September. The service will not work from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. This means for 1 hour customers will not be able to do any transaction through the YONO app.

SBI does this kind of maintenance work from time to time to make the banking system better. The bank has around 44 crore customers.

If you need money during this time, there is no need to worry. You can still send and receive money through UPI. Also, ATM services will continue, so you can withdraw cash without any problem. SBI has also said that customers can use the UPI Lite feature. UPI Lite works like a small wallet in your phone where you can keep money in advance. With this, you can make small payments up to ₹200 without connecting to the bank server.

If you have to do any important bank work when YONO is closed, you can call SBI’s toll-free numbers 1800 1234 or 1800 2100. In this way, the bank has tried to make sure that customers do not face problems and basic services continue without trouble.
