Millions of candidates apply for these railway recruitments, so the RRB Group D recruitment admit cards will be uploaded four days before the exam date. The Group D CBT exam will be conducted in various phases from November 27, 2025, to January 16, 2026.

RRB Group D Exam 2025: When will the exam begin?
According to the latest information from RRB, the Group D exam will begin on November 27, 2025, and the final phase will conclude on January 16, 2026.
The exam was originally expected to begin on November 17th, but the schedule has been changed. Candidates are advised to check the official notification and website regularly.

A link to download the exam city slip has been activated on the official website of RRB Chandigarh. This information about the exam city allows candidates to plan their preparations and travel in advance.

Process to download the RRB Group D City Intimation Slip
Candidates can follow the steps below to download their city slip:
- First, visit the official website, rrbcdg.gov.in.
- Click on the Exam City Intimation Slip link activated on the homepage.
- Now, enter your registration ID, password, and captcha.
- Your exam city slip will appear on the screen upon login.
- Download it and print it for future reference.
Note: This city slip only provides information about the exam city; it is not an admit card.
When will admit cards be released?
RRB has confirmed that admit cards will be issued four days before each candidate’s exam date.
- If your exam is on November 27th, the admit card will be available on November 23rd or 24th.
- If the exam is on November 30th, the admit card will be available on November 26th or 27th.
The admit card will contain the complete address of the exam centre, reporting time, and other important exam-related information.
RRB Group D CBT Exam Pattern 2025
The Group D recruitment exam will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT). The question paper will consist of a total of 100 objective questions, and candidates will be given 90 minutes.
The distribution of questions is as follows:
- Mathematics – 30 questions
- General Intelligence and Reasoning – 30 questions
- General Science – 25 questions
- General Awareness – 15 questions
Negative marking will also apply for each wrong answer, so it is important to solve the questions carefully.
