You really need to get your ration card’s e-KYC done before December 31st. If you don’t get it done on time, you won’t receive rations starting January 1st. No need to go to any offices for e-KYC; you can handle it all from home using just your mobile phone.

How can you do the e-KYC for your ration card from home?

If you want to finish your ration card’s e-KYC process, just follow these steps carefully. You’ll need a mobile phone and internet access.

Step 1- First, download the My KYC and Aadhaar FaceRD apps.

Step 2- Next, open the app and enter your location.

Step 3- Then, input your Aadhaar number, captcha, and the OTP you received.

Step 4: All your information will show up on the screen. Choose the Face-e-KYC option.

Step 5- The camera will activate; take a photo and submit it.

Step 6- Your e-KYC will be completed at this point.

If you’ve already done your e-KYC, it’s a good idea to check the e-KYC status just to be sure.

How to check your e-KYC status?

Step 1- First, open the My KYC app.

Step 2- Then, enter your location.

Step 3- Input your Aadhaar number, captcha, and OTP.

Step 4- If your KYC is complete, you’ll see a ‘Y’ in your status.

You can also complete your ration card’s e-KYC offline. If your mobile app isn’t working, don’t worry. You can complete your e-KYC at your nearest ration shop. To do this, you’ll need to visit a ration shop. Your thumb or fingerprint will be taken through a POS machine. You’ll also need to bring your Aadhaar card and ration card. Your thumb or finger print will be used for verification, after which your e-KYC will be completed.
