Gold Prices Down Today: Today marks the final day of Navratri—specifically, Shri Ram Navami. Consequently, prices of gold and silver have declined. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold has dropped by ₹2,490, settling at ₹1.44 lakh. Previously, the price stood at ₹1.46 lakh.

Meanwhile, the price of one kilogram of silver has fallen by ₹9,114, reaching the level of ₹2.25 lakh. Prior to this, on March 26, its price was ₹2.35 lakh per kilogram. If you are considering purchasing gold, you should check the latest rates before doing so.

What are the rates for 23 to 18-carat gold?
According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), as of today—Friday—the rate for 23-carat gold remains steady at ₹143,140 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, the rate for 22-carat gold has settled at ₹131,643. Furthermore, 18-carat gold has been recorded at ₹107,786 per tola. Additionally, the rate for 14-carat gold remains unchanged at ₹84,073 per 10 grams.

Silver Becomes Cheaper
Compared to yesterday, a decline has been observed in silver prices. Silver rates previously stood at ₹234,814 per kilogram; however, they have now dropped to ₹225,700 per kilogram. Compared to the previous closing price, silver has become cheaper by ₹9,114.
