Ration Card e-KYC Process: The ration card has been a staple form of identification in our country for a long time. It’s a crucial document for accessing government schemes and obtaining rations. With a ration card, citizens can receive free or subsidized food supplies. Recently, there’s been significant news regarding this essential ID for Indian citizens. As per the National Food Security Act (NFSA), it’s mandatory to complete the e-KYC for ration cards. Reports indicate that many individuals completed their e-KYC back in 2013, meaning it’s been nearly 12 years since then. According to regulations, e-KYC must be updated every five years. Thankfully, in today’s digital age, completing your e-KYC is a breeze. You can do it from the comfort of your home without having to wait in long lines.
