More than half of India’s population depends on farming. The central government runs many schemes to help farmers and give them financial support. The Government of India started the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana for farmers in 2019. Under this scheme, farmers get Rs 2,000 three times a year, every four months, which makes a total of Rs 6,000.
With this scheme, farmers can meet their small farming needs. The government sends Rs 2,000 in each installment directly to the farmers’ bank accounts through DBT. PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is very popular across the country. So far, the government has released 20 installments. Now, farmers want to know when the 21st installment will be released.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 20th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana on August 2 in a special program in Varanasi. Now, farmers are waiting for the 21st installment. According to media reports, the government may release the 21st installment in October. However, the government has not officially announced the date yet.
Many times, some farmers do not get the benefit of this scheme. This happens because farmers make small or big mistakes while applying for PM Kisan Yojana. Due to these mistakes, Rs 2,000 may not come to their account. Farmers should check the status of their application before the release of the 21st installment. If any mistake is found, they should correct it immediately.
Farmers can check the status of their application on the official PM Kisan website pmkisan.gov.in. This will tell whether they will get the installment or not. While checking, farmers should also verify their bank account details and Aadhaar number.
If e-KYC is not done yet, farmers may not get the 21st installment. E-KYC is necessary to get the benefit of this scheme. Do e-KYC as soon as possible.
Farmers should also check the PM Kisan Beneficiary Status. This will show if their name is in the beneficiary list. Keep checking the website for updates regularly.
