21 Installments Released So Far

Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the central government has so far released a total of 21 installments. With each installment, farmers receive an amount of Rs. 2,000. This money is sent to the farmers’ accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), completely eliminating the role of intermediaries.

Farmers Awaiting the 22nd Installment

Farmers across the country are now eagerly awaiting the 22nd installment of the PM Kisan Yojana. Although the government has not yet officially announced the date for the release of the installment, according to media reports, this amount may be transferred to farmers’ accounts in February. If everything goes according to schedule, farmers can expect to receive the next installment in February 2026.

Essential Tasks to Receive the Installment

Only those farmers who have completed all the necessary procedures related to the scheme on time will receive the benefits of the PM Kisan Yojana. If any deficiency or error is found in a farmer’s record, their installment may be withheld. Therefore, farmers are advised to check their information before the installment is released.

e-KYC is Mandatory

e-KYC is considered the most important process in the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The government has made it clear that farmers who have not completed e-KYC will not receive the installment under any circumstances. Farmers can complete the e-KYC process through the official PM Kisan website or by visiting their nearest Common Service Center.

Aadhaar and bank account linking is mandatory

To avail the benefits of the scheme, farmers must link their bank account with their Aadhaar number. If there are any errors in the name, date of birth, or other details in the bank account, the money cannot be transferred through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). It is also essential that the DBT facility is activated in the bank account.

Land verification and correction of information are necessary

Farmers should also ensure that their land verification is complete. Farmers who entered incorrect information at the time of application should get it corrected in time. Incorrect or incomplete information may cause the installment to be withheld, and they may miss out on the next installment.

Timely precautions are necessary

If farmers complete essential tasks such as e-KYC, Aadhaar-bank linking, DBT activation, and land verification promptly, they can receive the 22nd installment of the PM Kisan Yojana without any interruption. Therefore, farmers are advised to check their status before the installment is released.
