New Delhi: If your name is linked to the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, then your wait is about to end, as the government is soon going to open its coffers. The central government is expected to release the 22nd instalment of ₹2,000 by March 15th, benefiting approximately 9 crore families.

It was initially expected that the instalment would be credited to accounts by the end of February, before Holi. This did not happen. This dashed the hopes of farmers. When could the instalment money arrive?

The central government is expected to transfer the 22nd instalment on March 13th, 2026. PM Narendra Modi will be visiting Assam on this day, where he will address a public meeting. It is expected that the instalment amount will be released during this event. No official information has been provided regarding this.

How to Checthe Instalmentnt Amount

First, you need to visit the official PM Kisan website.

Then, go to the ‘Farmers Corner’ section at the bottom of the homepage.

You can then click on the ‘Beneficiary Status’ or ‘Know Your Status’ option.

After this, you need to enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number or registration number.

Then, enter the OTP received on your mobile.

After this, you can check your instalment status and details of previous instalments on the screen.
