India is a farming country. Many people in our country do farming. Farmers are very important for the country’s economy. But since independence, many farmers are still poor. Farming costs are high, and weather is not sure, so farmers face money problems. Even after crops are ready, many times they do not get a fair price in the market.
To help farmers, the Government of India started Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. In this scheme, farmers get Rs 6,000 every year. This money is given in three parts. In each part, Rs 2,000 is sent to the farmer’s bank account by DBT. Till now, crores of farmers have received 20 parts of this money.
Farmers waiting for the 21st instalment
Many farmers are waiting for the 21st installment of the PM Kisan Yojana. They want to know if the government will give this installment before Diwali. The installments of PM Kisan Yojana come every four months.
As per media reports, the Government of India may release the 21st installment in November or December. This means the money may come after Diwali. But the government has not yet given any official date.
Farmers who have not done e-KYC or land record (Bhulekh) verification will not get this installment. Also, the bank account must be linked with Aadhaar. So, to get the benefit of this scheme, farmers should complete these steps soon.
