New Delhi: Farmers enrolled under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme could be in for a windfall by the end of June. It is anticipated that the 23rd instalment of ₹2,000, under this scheme, may be released to beneficiary farmers by the last week of June. Approximately 90 million farmers are expected to benefit from this release.
Previously, the 22nd instalment was released on March 13, 2026. Farmers will receive the benefit of the upcoming instalment if they complete certain mandatory tasks. Failure to complete requirements such as e-KYC, land verification, and farmer registration could lead to difficulties. On the other hand, no official statement regarding the exact date of the installation lease has been issued by any authority yet.

Farmers: Complete These Tasks Immediately
Beneficiaries enrolled in the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme must complete certain essential tasks. Foremost among these is the completion of the e-KYC process. It is mandatory for all farmers associated with the scheme to complete this requirement. Failure to do so may result in your instalment being held.
Key Information Regarding e-KYC for Farmers
Did you know that completing e-KYC has been made mandatory for farmers? Beneficiaries are required to undergo this e-KYC verification process. Beneficiaries whose e-KYC is incomplete—or has been stalled for any reason—must also ensure that this process is completed.

How to Complete e-KYC
To complete this process, you can first visit your nearest Common Service Centre (CSC).
At the CSC, you can complete the biometric-based e-KYC verification.
Alternatively, if you prefer, you can also complete the e-KYC process yourself through the scheme’s official portal: pmkisan.gov.in.
Through the portal, you can complete the OTP-based e-KYC verification.
