Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan gave ₹540 crore on Friday. This is the 21st PM Kisan installment. The money went to farmers in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Punjab. More than 27 lakh farmers got the money in their bank accounts.

Chouhan joined the program on video call with ministers, MPs, MLAs, and farmers’ leaders. He said the government always helps farmers. This ₹2,000 will help farmers buy daily things, fertilizers, and seeds for the next crop.

Support for Farmers in Flood-Affected States

He said this will encourage farmers in these flood-affected states to return to farming with full energy. Chouhan said this installment is not only money help but also a message that the government cares for every farmer. No farmer should feel alone during natural disasters.

How Much Money Went to Which State?

With the 21st installment, the total PM Kisan amount in these three states has gone over ₹13,626 crore. The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme started on February 24, 2019.
