The Government of India has started the Mera Ration 2.0 app. With this app, people can get ration without a card. You can use your Aadhaar card number to get ration online through this app.
How to Use the Mera Ration 2.0 App
You can download this app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. After downloading, enter your Aadhaar card number and log in with an OTP. Once logged in, your ration card details will appear in the app, showing who can get ration.
Now, ration card holders do not need to go to the ration shop and show their card. With the Mera Ration 2.0 app, people can get ration without carrying a physical card. This step by the Government of India aims to make the ration process simple and easy.
What Has Changed

Who Will Not Get Ration
- The government has made some rules for ration cards.
- If a person owns more than 100 square meters of land, or has a plot, flat, or house, they cannot get a ration card.
- People who have a car or tractor, or have items like a refrigerator or AC, are also not eligible.
- If anyone in the family has a government job, they cannot get a ration card.
In villages, the family income must be less than ₹2 lakh per year, and in cities, it must be less than ₹3 lakh. People who pay income tax or have a licensed weapon are also not eligible for a ration card.
