e-KYC Deadline

Maharashtra Women and Child Development Minister Aditi Tatkare has urged all beneficiaries of the Majhi Ladki Behen Yojana to complete their e-KYC as soon as possible. She strongly urged all women through the social media platform X to complete this process before November 18th. If e-KYC is not completed by this date, their ₹1,500 installment will be withheld.

The Maharashtra government made e-KYC mandatory for this scheme in September, and beneficiaries were given two months to complete the process. A government resolution was also issued in this regard.

The minister also announced the good news that the October stipend will begin being distributed on Wednesday. This amount will be directly deposited into the Aadhaar-linked bank accounts of all eligible female beneficiaries. This means that the ₹1,500 assistance will begin arriving in beneficiaries’ bank accounts from November 5th.

Easy way to complete e-KYC

To safeguard your monthly assistance, completing e-KYC is now mandatory. This process can be easily completed from the comfort of your home:

First, you need to visit the website ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in.

Next, click on the “eKYC” option on the homepage.

Enter your Aadhaar number in the e-KYC form and fill in the captcha code. Then, tick the “Yes, I agree” checkbox and click the “Send OTP” button.

An OTP will be sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number. Enter that OTP and submit.

The system will now check if your KYC is already complete.

If KYC is already complete, the message “eKYC already completed” will appear on the screen.
