Jharkhand Assembly Clears 5 Key Bills: The assembly session is going on in the state of Jharkhand. The state government has introduced many such bills in the assembly. Which have also been approved in the assembly. Many such big bills have been brought to improve the higher education system in the state. Bills like the Jharkhand Coaching Centre (Control and Regulation) Bill, Jharkhand Vocational Educational Institutions (Fee Regulation) Bill have been passed in the Legislative Assembly.

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Special Exemption) Bill- 2025

The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Special Exemption) Bill- 2025 was passed on Tuesday in the monsoon session of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. It provides for exemption from approvals and inspections in the establishment and operation of micro, small and medium enterprises.

Jharkhand Vocational Educational Institutions (Fee Regulation) Bill, 2025

The state government has approved the Jharkhand Vocational Educational Institutions (Fee Regulation) Bill, 2025. Its objective is to strongly prohibit the collection of arbitrary fees in private vocational educational institutions. There are constant complaints about the fees charged by these private institutes.

Coaching Centre (Control and Regulation) Bill, 2025

The state government got the Jharkhand Coaching Centre (Control and Regulation) Bill, 2025, approved by the Assembly to control and make transparent the activities of the rapidly growing coaching institutes. The objective of which is to establish a state-level coaching centre regulatory authority and district-level committees to monitor and regulate coaching centres.

Jharkhand Platform-Based Gig Workers (Registration and Welfare) Bill- 2025

A new bill has been brought in the interest of thousands of gig workers working in the state of Jharkhand. The name of this bill is Jharkhand Platform-Based Gig Workers (Registration and Welfare) Bill- 2025. This was passed in the Assembly on 26 August. The government has said about this bill that at present there has been a lot of growth in the economy of Jharkhand, and its expansion has provided flexible employment, although these workers have to face many challenges, due to which bringing a new MLA will implement a better regulatory mechanism in the interest of gig workers.

Jharkhand State University Bill, 2025

Jharkhand State University Bill, 2025, has been approved. According to this bill, the appointment of Vice Chancellor (VC), Pro Vice Chancellor (Pro-VC) and Financial Advisor will now be done by the state government and not the Governor. Due to this now a big rule has come into force in the case of the university.
