The Railways have enacted another important rule to ensure passenger safety. According to this, traveling on a train while drunk or under the influence of any intoxicant is strictly prohibited. Such a person’s ticket is cancelled, and they can be punished with imprisonment of up to 6 months, a fine of ₹500, or both.
