While current trains often charge sky-high fares for speed and convenience, reports indicate that the fare for this advanced train could range from as low as Rs 5 to a maximum of Rs 25. What makes this train special?
When it comes to features, this train will produce neither smoke nor noise. It operates on electrochemical technology, utilizing hydrogen generated from 9 kg of water to power itself. Its design speed is 150 km/h, and during its operation, it will travel at speeds between 110 to 140 km/h, cutting the journey time from Jind to Sonipat from 2 hours down to just under 1 hour.
